About

The workshop and where it comes from

What the Collage is

The AI Risks Collage is a collaborative 38-card workshop, about two hours long, that lets a group understand the stakes of artificial intelligence together, with no technical background. Throughout the workshop, participants connect the cards to build an overview: how AI works, what it can do, its impacts, its risks and the possible solutions.

The printed material remains the reference. An online version will soon allow remote facilitation.

Origin and lineage

The Collage is adapted from the AI Safety Collage by the Centre pour la sécurité de l'IA (CeSIA), itself inspired by the Climate Collage. It follows the proven principle of these workshops: a deck of cards you connect to build, collectively, an understanding of a complex subject.

Who runs the project

The AI Risks Collage is run by the association Pause IA, which works toward responsible governance of artificial intelligence. Find the association at pauseia.fr.
